Applying Pilates for Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction

SacroIliac Joint (SIJ) dysfunction is an extremely common issue in our modern world with more sedentary lifestyles contributing to the rise of SIJ dysfunction that we are seeing more frequently in movement studios and clinics. SIJ pain and dysfunction is commonly attributed to chronic musculoskeletal pattern imbalances, and can also be caused from arthritis, degeneration, auto immune responses, and trauma. Around 15% of people suffering low back pain are found to be suffering from SIJ dysfunction. This workshop provides understanding of the condition as it presents in our studios or clinics, and offers exercise strategies and applications for restoring balance to the SIJ.

The course is self-paced at approximately 8-10 hours work. You are given 6 months access for ongoing reference and review.
