Pilates Management of the Sacroiliac Joints with Andrew Aroustian

Movement training has been shown to be highly effective in the ongoing management of the sacroiliac joint when understood and applied correctly.
This workshop offers a brief review of the structure and function of the SIJ, common symptoms and presentations, then focuses on exploring Pilates method exercises to restore and maintain balanced functioning of the joints and pelvic girdle.
Repertoire inclusions focus on the posterior oblique sling, lumbo-pelvic stabilisation and mobilisation, and functional movement selections across matwork and Pilates studio apparatus.
Content equates to approximately 6-8 hours of contact training with support study. You will have six weeks access to this workshop.
