This practical contact session provides the experiential learning of repertoire application, sequences and programming for the Reach Pilates for Womens Health training program.
This course provides a deeper understanding of the health needs of adult women over the years post adolescence to pre-menopause. Participants will be taken through movement, sequences, programming and applications, that aim to support and enhance hormonal balance, musculoskeletal strength and function, and overall wellbeing both physically and mentally.
Movement strategies are designed to be integrated into studio sessions, group classes as well as daily life, and can be applied to your general sessions with clients or provided as homework for clients to use for self-management of hormonal symptoms or for improved health and wellbeing.
To fully appreciate the complexity of women, their health needs and hormonal changes over their lifetime, Reach Pilates for Women’s Health course focuses on the menstruating years, when cycles are fully established, and hormone levels are highest.

This online course with practical contact session explores peri-menopause, menopause, and how exercise and activity can support a positive experience in all aspects of middle age onwards.
Menopause is a natural part of a woman’s life and can be experienced positively. This program aims to shift the mindset away from fear or dread of “the change”, and replace that with an understanding of how to embrace this process and use Pilates exercise to stay well and remain active.
This course provides strategies and movement support for women as they navigate peri-menopause, menopause, and post menopause.
- Understanding the hormonal fluctuations of peri, during and post menopause stages, and the corresponding ‘symptoms’ of menopause
- Using movement to support daily health in these stages of life
- Holistic strategies to support health and wellbeing during these life stages

Learn how to support women with Pilates exercise across the three trimesters of pregnancy and after giving birth.
With guidelines, repertoire, applications and programming strategies for pre and post natal clients, this workshop provides an in-depth understanding of pregnancy, the changes that occur in various systems of the body, and exercise guidelines and programming considerations for pre and post natal clients. Includes guidelines for exercise during all stages of pregnancy, screening and clearance requirements, possible risk factors and conditions, indicated and contra-indicated exercises, specific repertoire to utilise, and programming for Pilates instruction and application.
