Movement training has been shown to be highly effective in the management of sacroiliac joint dysfunction when understood and applied correctly. This workshop explores the reasoning and exercise interventions for managing symptomatic sacroiliac joint (SIJ) conditions, with a particular focus on integrating the Pilates method of exercise.

Developed and presented by Andrew Aroustian, this workshop is the first in a series that focuses on training specific muscles, muscular groups and muscular sling systems that provide stability and support to the SIJ, starting with the gluteus maximus and the posterior oblique sling.
